Mac Mini

  • Any model 2014 or newer can be upgraded to the latest version of Mac OS if your software is out of date and won’t let you update, and most models can at least be upgraded to a newer version than they’re currently running.
  • Any model up to 2013 can take more memory for better performance and multitasking.
  • Any model up to 2014 can be upgraded to larger hard drives for more storageor solid state drives for more speed.

MacBook Pro

  • Any model 2013 or newer can be upgraded to the latest version of Mac OS if your software is out of date and won’t let you update, and most models can at least be upgraded to a newer version than they’re currently running.
  • Any model can take a replacement battery if the laptop doesn’t hold a charge as long as it used to.
  • Models released from 2009 to mid-2012 can take more memory for better performance and multitasking.
  • Models released from 2009 to mid-2012 can be upgraded to larger hard drives for more storage or solid state drives for more speed.
  • Models released from late 2012 to Late 2015 can be upgraded to larger solid state drives for more storage.

MacBook Air

  • Any model 2013 or newer can be upgraded to the latest version of Mac OS if your software is out of date and won’t let you update, and most models can at least be upgraded to a newer version than they’re currently running.
  • Any model can take a replacement battery if the laptop doesn’t hold a chargeas long as it used to.
  • Any model can be upgraded to a larger solid state drive for more storage.
